Hi, thanks for your interest. Oriole will have a new album and tour sometime this year. You can hear some of our new music on the video clips above.

As a group we haven't played quite so much recently because I have been living in Andelucia for the last two years. Of course there have been plenty of new developments from members of the band. A new Polar Bear album, new Ingrid Laubrock(now living in New York) projects, a Ben Davis mercury nomination (maybe that makes us one of the few band to have two mercury nominated artists, are there others?). Adriano Adewales' new group, Nick Ramm has been playing with Tom Jones and Cinematic Orchestra, Ruth Goller with Acoustic Ladyland

Myself? Well apart from relaxing on the beach, I've been learning some spanish and playing with some great musician.

If you do happen to pass by Cadiz/Andelucia contact me and i will tell you where to find some good flamenco and Jazz concerts and also the best tapas!! Here are some friends playing, click the names..: Nono Garcia, Felix Slim, Nino De La Leo, Alejandro Benitez(Bass), Octavio Kotan, A young gypsy singing in a Cadiz bar with a guitarist who looks like Dustin Hoffman.

Its a great town with happy musical people and nice beach. It became famous recently because Tom Cruz filmed here on the main street with Bulls. They escaped, went to the beach and relaxed. Seriously, look:

I've also been writing and recording music for television with Joe Leach from the Cowshed Studio in London. I'm very proud of it, its good music in a fun, sixties lounge/funk kind of way. We think its going to be the best and perhaps the silliest library music album of all time.
